I strayed away from my 50mm rule today as this shot needed a wider angle to appreciate it. I took it from the top of the St Davids Shopping centre (take the lift to the 8th floor). It was another gorgeous day and we also managed to clear up the back yard (slightly)..

A gorgeous day and I'm down the bay for the Ffotogallery Seminar. There's not a cloud in the sky and also no vapour trails due to the cloud of volcanic ash floating down from Iceland, resulting in an aircraft ban..
It's very odd..

Roath Park - Part 2
Last day of the Easter holiday (for me at least). So I went for a wander before we came home. These benches were all placed here in remembrance of people who had died. There were quite a few and all were labelled with plaques...
I used a very narrow DOF and focused on the second bench in.  This gave an effect similar to that produced by a tilt shift lens for some reason.... interesting...
