What's this?

I see this plant every morning on my way to work so today I thought I'd take a cutting. Dad thinks it's a thistle of some sort.. the leaves had thorns that's for sure !?

Rainy evening.

I took this this evening while walking Molly. It was cloudy and overcast so I increased the ISO to 1000. Also I took the photo using the camera's in built Monochrome facility.. Turned out ok..

Flagging here. The subject of this photo is a BMW X5. This vehicle took up most of my Thursday installing a Parrot kit.  The fact that its a day late is down to the 'ikea' effect. I was up till 12.45 putting up a wardrobe... Plus we've no internet access and this phone is crap.. Anyway here it is..
